Sorrow. There's not much i can say that i have not already. Other than that nothing will dissipate my memories of him. I cannot say i knew him well; rather that i knew a different part of him. I am optimistic however that the fund his parents have initiated is a success. Our communities would benifit from it and make people look at our similarities rather than our differences. To the Devlin family, please accept my heartfelt and sincere condolences for your tragic loss. I am a Belfast expat living in England for the last 37 years,and I keep a close watch on all the news back home, but this evil crime to young Thomas, hit me like a ton of bricks. I think partly because my youngest son at that age, looked so much like your son. May god give you peace, and may the wind be always at your back, justice will be done ,either in this world or the next. |
