I felt I had to post my comments here.. originally from Glenshesk and knowing the Devlins I just wish to say that I am very sorry for your loss. As a parent, the thought of anything happening to my children is unbearable and the thought of someone taking them from me is even worse.
God Bless you and I hope you get Justice and the chance to grieve for you son rather than worry about the people responsible still being free. I hope their every waking moment is consumed with the guilt of what they have done. God Bless |

I just have to say how terrible this was and hope that soon you will get some justice. My son is the same age as Thomas was and I can only imagine how hard it must be not to have him around.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. |

It?s been some years since I lived in Belfast but I know the Somerton/Fortwilliam area well and the familiarity made this grim news last year more vivid and real. Like others I have no adequate words to comfort the family but for what it?s worth, may you find peace. I agree with an earlier contributor that this evil killing shouldn?t be blamed on any particular religious group. Whatever church the killers attended (if any) I?m confident they weren?t taught that they?re permitted to kill. This was an evil act by dangerous thugs. A hopeful sign for the future of Ulster is that Thomas?s own life at home and at school represented a weakening of the Protestant/Catholic divide that was near universal in my youth. |

My heartfelt condolences to your family. Any young life taken, either by illness or at another's hand, is a tragedy.
I just learned of this site, and the fund, and plan on donating soon. Being of Irish descent, my grandparents are from Galway and Leitrim, I hate to see fellow Irishmen in pain. |

Hope all the family are doing well and this web site is a great idea but the sooner the people who have done this are put behind bars the better. They are still out there somewhere, somebody has got to know something. Too many murders have gone unsolved in this country ihope they solve this one all the best to the family xxx |
