I live on the Old Cavehill Road. My children went to Cavehill Primary and BRA. We shop at the same filling station, and walk the same streets as Thomas. We feel your loss. We strongly support the Fund: Northern Ireland needs young people with vision and creativity, in order to break away from the barbaric violence epitomised by Thomas's murder. |

I grew up on the old cavehill road and went to school at BRA as well. I now live in new york, but hearing this tragic news really broke my heart, and brought me home. My deepest condolences for your loss, and your strength and courage in setting up this fund is a true inspiration. Let us all look to the future together to heal the wounds of violence. A terrible waste of a life and thomas' death was symbolic of the useless violence that goes on from time to time in this country. I send my sympathy to the friends and family of the late Thomas Devlin. |
